Horse Drawn Mail Coach Holidays A truly unique experience is to travel through pre-alpine Upper Bavaria by horse drawn mail coach. |

Starting from just south of Starnberg, to the south east
of Munich, you travel in a genuine former mail coach,
drawn by two or four horses, through the countryside of the
Pfaffenwinkel to the Royal Castles of Hohenschwangau and
Neuschwanstein, staying at comfortable traditional Bavarian
inns along the route. You can either travel in just one
direction, with one overnight en route and a conventional
transfer back to Munich at the end, or relax and spend three
nights on the journey, travelling out and back by mail coach.
