The holiday at Hinterzarten was amazingly good. Marvellous
room, friendly atmosphere, good food and enjoyable walking.
We did most of your recommended local walks and also went
with a local walking group who were very friendly.

We arrived home yesterday after a very good holiday. The walking
was great, as was the food. The Germans we came into contact with
were very friendly and very helpful. I would particularly commend
the owners of the hotels in Enzklösterle and Obertal, as well
as the hunter who drove us 5 miles after we took the wrong path.

This is to thank you for a really top holiday in a part of
Germany totally unknown to me. The two groups of hotels, in
Leipzig and Dresden and on the walking days were of a very
high standard and comfort. All in all it is an
exception to try out nine hotels and find them of a
consistently high standard. The efficiency and helpfulness
from all staff, for laundering and arranging taxis etc was
such a joy to experience. For the money it was exceptional
value. The country walks were excellent although the
first day's walk was quite far as we were slightly out of
shape, not that that was your fault.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help with.
